Salt
and Pepper
has been created by two strong solo performers who joined together to
combine their talents after being asked if they could do a duet in a
show in which, by happy accident, they were both performing. They found
what they call 'magic' from the first moment they worked together.
They formed Salt (Jerry) and Pepper (Naomi), a male and female duo performing their own original arrangements of a wide range of song styles, including standards, jazz, folk, Broadway, classical and contemporary music.
The duo offers several different shows and emphasizes original harmonies, counterpoint, and solo performances within each of their acts. Songs are performed with accompaniment or a cappella when appropriate for a particular piece. Shows they have created include; Salt And Pepper perform: Sinatra and Garland; Broadway Show Stoppers; Great Standards; Sentimental Journey; A Tribute To America; Crazy For Gershwin; and Crazy For Cole.
